Terms of Use

Effective date: July 20, 2026. These terms govern use of WhyMiss.

Service

WhyMiss provides app-to-app calling and messaging between authenticated users. It does not provide emergency calling, carrier phone service, or public PSTN dialing.

User Responsibilities

• Use accurate signup information and keep account access secure.
• Only contact people you are allowed to contact.
• Do not abuse, harass, threaten, spam, impersonate others, or upload unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, storage limits, rate limits, or contact authorization.

Content

You are responsible for messages and media you send. WhyMiss may remove content or restrict accounts when needed to operate the service, enforce these terms, or comply with law.

Availability

Calls and messages depend on internet connectivity, Apple services, LiveKit services, device permissions, and backend availability. The service may be interrupted or changed.

No Emergency Calling

WhyMiss must not be used for emergency calls. Use your phone carrier or local emergency services for emergencies.

Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from the app. Deletion disables access and revokes device registration. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
